We are currently recruiting a Business Development Assistant to work alongside the Sales Director, generating new sales leads and following up on quotations.
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Lead generation - researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential customers, contacting key decision-makers and cultivating relationships to acquire new leads.
•Establishing and building relationships with multiple individuals throughout an account.
•Following up on and tracking quotations and issuing monthly reports on sales activities.
•Updating the CRM and other internal software, ensuring a high quality of data is being inputted.
•Proactively managing the Sales Director’s diary and arranging visits for the Sales Director to meet with customers.
•Providing general administration for the Sales Director including travel arrangements.
•The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines and targets.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to a wide range of audiences.
•Excellent networking skills and ability to self-generate new business opportunities.
•Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
•Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team as well as on y own initiative.
•Ability to win and close new business.
•High energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
•Be able to build strong relationships externally and internally.
•Relevant sales experience.
•Ability to demonstrate meeting sales targets and increasing revenue in previous roles.
•Experience prospecting new business.
•Experience of making outbound sales calls.
•Professional image, superb business acumen and the willingness to go above and beyond to deliver business objectives.
•Based at Adelphi Headquarters in Haywards Heath.
•35 hours per week.
