Are you a result-driven and highly rigorous Regulatory Engineer willing to be part of the growth of our Product Reliability and Regulatory Compliance department?

In this role youll be in charge of leading the process and developing expertise for product regulatory approvals worldwide, according to each products targeted specifications.
Youll have an opportunity to participate in cross-functional projects for new product development as well as in current product lifecycles.
You should possess proven track record in safety and EMC standards/directives supported by strong knowledge of EMC testing.

Principal Activities/Duties/Responsibilities

Work closely with the Global Regulatory Compliance expert and with other regulatory compliance engineer or technician on project work.
Proactively stay up to date on the standards, directives and regulations applicable and/or related to our products.
Inform/educate stake holders of any forecasted evolutions/changes to the standards, directives and regulations.
Promote awareness/knowledge on product safety within the Product Development and Marketing team by creating general recommendations/ guidelines for the teams.
During the Product Development, review the product specifications and participate in design reviews to verify/assure the appropriate/relevant standards, directives, and regulations are included to obtain the required regulatory compliance approvals.
Work closely (on-site) with the certifying laboratories and organizations during testing. Prepared and able to take remedial/corrective actions as necessary during testing.

Education and/or Experience Required

BS Degree in Sciences (preferably Electrical Engineering).
+5 years of experience in safety and EMC standards/directives
Strong knowledge of UL, ETL, CE, and other global safety directives
Strong knowledge of EMC testing including EMC pre-compliance during product development, EMC testing at external labs, and EMC mitigation.
Experience in global markets
Strong skills to interpret/analyze mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, diagrams.
Strong ability to work in global cross functional teams
